Job Description – Mobile Cleaner Driver

Genie Cleaning Services are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Mobile Cleaner Driver to work across the West Midlands. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for providing daily cleaning services, covering staff absences, maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple sites, and supporting cleaning teams.
Our head office is based in Aldridge, and we provide cleaning services throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas. We are currently undergoing a digital transformation to reduce our use of paper and improve efficiency. We are a friendly and supportive team and would love to welcome you on board.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning duties across a variety of sites to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
- Travelling to multiple sites each day.
- Maintain consistently high cleaning standards and rectify any issues identified during site visits.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding staffing, site performance and any issues requiring attention.
- Travel between multiple sites, ensuring a professional and first-class cleaning service is delivered at every location.
- Hold a full manual UK driving licence.
- Successfully complete an Enhanced DBS check.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous cleaning experience, ideally within a supervisory or team leader role.
- Is happy to undertake daily cleaning duties as part of the role.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to respond to short-notice absence cover.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is an enthusiastic team player with the ability to motivate and support others.
- Can effectively manage their own workload while working across multiple sites.

About the Role
This position involves visiting a variety of sites each day, including schools, offices and commercial premises. Cleaning duties may include meeting rooms, offices, kitchens, washrooms, toilets and communal areas.
This is a working supervisor role, meaning you will spend the majority of your time carrying out cleaning duties while also supervising teams, covering staff absences, maintaining cleaning standards, completing audits and ensuring all sites continue to meet Genie Cleaning Services' high expectations.
You will ensure training and compliance records remain up to date and communicate with management on a daily basis.
Working Hours: Between 6:00am and 7:30pm, with split shifts required within these hours.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,000
