About the role:
The security of information is critical to the ongoing success and reputation of the business. The role of Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice will offer the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business across a broad range of activities (projects, new product developments, business processes, stakeholder advice and strategy) to ensure that information is used in a secure and appropriate manner. An opportunity to work in a challenging and fast paced environment, working on a subject matter that can range from technical security elements to understanding assurance processes and ensuring security guidelines are maintained and met.
This role will ensure that technological & organisational security practices are consistent with ISO27001, NIST 0800-53, MOD and other government standards. The role will involve you becoming familiar with security standards and practices including scanning and protective monitoring, (physical) access control systems, CCTV systems, security models and architectures and Information security threats. The role will also form part of the core security team that deliver and drives continual service improvement across the business ensuring delivery of best of breed compliant security services in the most effective and efficient manner.
You will report directly to the Lead Security Analyst and will work with local security and operational teams to ensure processes are being followed to meet internal customer and external requirements and certifications. This role is 5 days a week in the office and after a period of assessment will have a requirement to be on call in a rotation with the other Analysts.

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
