We are seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to help design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys automation, solving infrastructure challenges and working with modern cloud-native technologies.
About the Role You'll work across cloud infrastructure, automation and platform engineering, building Infrastructure as Code, improving CI/CD pipelines and supporting containerised workloads. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms while continuously improving operational resilience and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities - Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state securely.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing and deployments.
- Deploy and support containerised workloads using Kubernetes or container services.
- Design secure IAM policies following least-privilege principles.
- Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to improve platform reliability.
- Support production environments and participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Maintain cloud networking, storage, compute and database services.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve automation and platform performance.
About You - Experience working with AWS cloud services including compute, networking, storage and identity management.
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for automation, reliability and continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills - AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Helm.
- Monitoring platforms including Grafana, Datadog or ELK/OpenSearch.
- Personal cloud projects, home labs or GitHub repositories demonstrating practical experience.
