The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing IoT Sales team, taking ownership of an established portfolio of customers whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, understand their commercial and technical requirements, and deliver innovative connectivity solutions that support them throughout their IoT journey.

Working across a wide range of industries including logistics, healthcare, retail, transport, utilities and security, no two days will be the same.

What You'll Be Doing

As our IoT & Connectivity Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing IoT customers.
  • Grow recurring revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify and win new business through prospecting, referrals, LinkedIn, networking and targeted outreach.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' commercial objectives and technical connectivity requirements.
  • Present their market-leading IoT portfolio, including SIM, eSIM, managed connectivity and private networking solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and negotiate profitable agreements.
  • Work closely with our Product, Technical and Operations teams to deliver successful customer implementations.
  • Manage contract renewals and ensure excellent customer retention.
  • Conduct regular customer reviews to identify future growth opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively resolve customer issues.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with developments across the IoT and connectivity market.


About You

You will be someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges and spotting commercial opportunities.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in Account Management, Business Development or B2B Sales.
  • A proven track record of growing customer accounts and winning new business.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex sales opportunities.
  • The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience using LinkedIn as a business development tool would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence.


It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience selling IoT, telecoms, connectivity or M2M solutions.
  • Knowledge of eSIM technology, managed connectivity, private APNs or VPNs.
  • Experience working within industries such as logistics, healthcare, retail, transport, security, utilities or smart technology.
  • Experience managing strategic customers who use multiple suppliers.
