Teacher of Computing

Hertfordshire
Permanent | September 2026 | MPS/UPS (M1 - UPS3)

A well-regarded secondary school in Cheshunt is looking to appoint a motivated and creative Teacher of Computing for a September 2026 start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where innovation, student engagement, and staff wellbeing are genuinely valued. The leadership team is committed to creating an environment where teachers are trusted to deliver exciting lessons, bring new ideas to the classroom, and develop professionally.

The school is seeking someone who can make Computing relevant, challenging, and accessible for all learners. Whether you are an experienced teacher or at the beginning of your teaching career, you will be joining a collaborative department with a strong team culture and a shared focus on delivering high-quality teaching.

The role will involve teaching Computing across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and wider enrichment activities.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS or be on track to achieve it
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for Computing and emerging technologies
  • Be confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Have high expectations both academically and pastorally

What the school offers:

  • A supportive and approachable leadership team
  • A strong focus on staff development and progression
  • Excellent behaviour and a positive learning culture
  • Modern teaching facilities and resources
  • A school community that values creativity, ambition, and inclusivity

If you are looking for a new opportunity within a supportive secondary school where your ideas and contribution will be valued, we would love to hear from you.
