Test Analyst
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 DOE
Location: Worthing, Hybrid Working Available - 3 days in office.
An established and growing UK-based technology and financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Manual Tester / Test Analyst to join its collaborative development team.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring software quality through detailed manual testing, requirements analysis, and close collaboration with developers and business stakeholders. The role involves testing across web and mobile platforms and contributing to continuous improvement within the QA process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and execute manual test cases
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Conduct manual regression testing
- Log, manage, and track defects through to resolution
- Analyse and refine business requirements and documentation
- Define and validate acceptance criteria
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
- Support testing across web and mobile applications
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a Manual Testing / Test Analyst role
- Strong exploratory and regression testing experience
- Cross-browser and mobile testing knowledge
- Experience working within Agile Scrum or Kanban environments
- Understanding of SQL
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of UX principles
- Confidence to challenge requirements and suggest improvements
Desirable Experience
- Experience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated sectors
- Exposure to performance or stress testing
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Confluence
