Your new role
- System Configuration: Monitor, document, and maintain effective Cloud service configurations.
- Deployments & Upgrades: Manage and implement system deployments and upgrades.
- Team Collaboration: Analyse system architecture with team members and suggest improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the Senior Cloud Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies for ongoing system enhancements.
- Incident Management: Monitor, support incidents, prioritise, and resolve them effectively.
- Issue Ownership: Manage day-to-day issues and escalate when necessary.
- Change Control: Implement changes using the appropriate change-control process.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with suppliers, support teams, and the business.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain procedure documentation.
- Innovation: Think creatively to leverage Cloud and data technologies for better efficiency.
- Professional Development: Pursue ongoing professional development and qualifications.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years, with 2 years hands-on in Azure environments.
- Troubleshooting: Skilled in resolving service-impacting issues.
- Cloud Solutions: Ability to design and implement robust Cloud solutions.
- Azure Knowledge: Familiar with services like PaaS SQL, App Services, IaaS, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure networking, Azure Monitor, Logic Apps, Application Gateway, Azure Recovery Services, Azure Security Services.
- Network Concepts: Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proactive Management: Active approach to systems management.
- Analytical Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Financial Services: Experience in this sector is a plus.
