DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Engineer
Our client, a growing software consultancy that operates in the igaming sector, are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer to join their development team. The role can be based remotely, from Romania or another Eastern European country.
The post holder should be a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with a strong DevOps background and at least 5 years+ of practical experience. The candidate should be adept at designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and delivery. Our core providers/technologies are AWS, Cloudflare, Gitlab, Kubernetes, Go, PostgreSQL and we run backend infrastructure for online gaming providers 24/7.
Responsibilities -
- Design and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using IaC tools.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimise the SDLC.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the infrastructure.
Requirements -
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a DevOps approach.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.
- Experience with cloud services and containerization technologies
- Ability to document infrastructure and systems in an efficient manner.
- Strong understanding of network and system architecture.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Hashicorp.
