QA Analyst
£40,000 - £46,500
Manchester - x2 a week
Our client, a major player in the gambling industry, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is based in central Manchester, with a hybrid working model requiring two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse requirements documents to ensure clear understanding of business and technical specifications.
- Develop test plans and test scripts to agreed standards.
- Perform functional and regression testing on software projects.
- Accurately report and manage defects using Jira.
- Create and maintain product knowledge documentation.
- Provide support for functional queries following software releases.
- Contribute to the testing strategy and planning for Sportsbook projects, working with senior testers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial software testing, including API, Database, and web testing.
- Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test scripts, defect reports).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working on frequent software releases.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to professional development.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills.
