Senior Frontend Developer – Vue.js.
Remote
Salary: £53K - £60K DOE
A public sector organisation is currently hiring for a highly experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a newly formed team.
Within this role you will work on cutting-edge and ever-evolving digital solutions. You will also play an important role in a digital transformation project of a pre-existing application designed to transform the industry.
You will be responsible for the development of secure software solutions using modern frameworks and practices. Joining an agile environment, you will work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.
Skills:
- JavaScript / Typescript
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, preference is Vue.js. Experience with React will also be highly desirable.
- Good CSS/style organisation with experience of CSS in JS solutions
- Jest
- Experience of CI/CD principles
- Experience working with API’s and integrating with backend data
- Experience of cloud technologies Azure / AWS
- Responsive design, mobile first
- Developing on top of a Microservice architecture using REST services
- Writing Front End tests (protractor, karma, Jasmine or similar)
- Solid grounding in current UI design patterns, practices and frameworks
- Capable of teaching/mentoring/pair-programming with other members of the team
Knowledge and experience of the following technologies is desirable:
- Experience of Docker
- Experience of working in a Continuous Delivery or Deployment environment
- Experience of developing any backend API frameworks
Salary for this role is between £53K - £60K DOE
