- Identify, assess, and manage data quality risks across critical business data assets.
- Support the development, governance, and certification of data products within cloud-based data platforms.
- Define and maintain metadata, data lineage, business glossaries, and data quality standards.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and promote the benefits of strong data governance and data quality practices.
- Support data classification and metadata tagging activities, including governance of sensitive and PII data.
- Collaborate with technical teams to embed governance controls throughout the data product lifecycle.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of the organisation's data governance framework.
- 4–7 years' experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Experience working closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards to deliver governance outcomes.
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, data governance principles, metadata management, and data stewardship.
- Experience supporting the creation, management, or governance of data products.
- Knowledge of data classification, data lineage, metadata management, and PII governance.
- Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Experience with Google Dataplex would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake is desirable.
- Ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly language and build stakeholder buy-in for governance initiatives.
- Experience within Financial Services or another regulated industry would be beneficial.
