based in Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and
detail-focused individual to join a busy engineering/design team
on a 6-month temporary-to-permanent basis, with the intention of
moving into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will provide essential administrative

teams, ensuring documentation, data and resources are managed
accurately and efficiently.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing CDE correspondence and document control for VS
Engineering activities.
* Merging documents produced by Design Engineers to create
accurate design submission packs.
* Maintaining data within the Kanban Board and Aphex programme to
support departmental resource allocation.
* Completing project timesheet data entry for Design Engineers.
* Providing general administration support, including ad hoc
administration and document printing.
* Organising meetings and providing administrative support where
required.
* Coordinating and booking travel and accommodation for the VS
Engineering team.
* Supporting office facilities maintenance and reporting any
issues.
* Providing additional administrative and coordination support to
the Design Management team as required.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* A confident and professional communicator.
* Comfortable working with data and completing accurate data
entry.
* IT savvy and confident learning and using different systems and
programmes.
* Experienced in document management and administration.
* Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks
effectively.
* Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
* A strong team player who is happy to provide support wherever
required.

Previous experience within construction, engineering, design or a
project environment would be advantageous, although the key
requirement is excellent organisational and administrative
ability.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established
construction business and become an important part of its
Engineering and Design function.

The role offers £30,000 per annum, working 9.00am–5.00pm, Monday
to Friday, initially on a 6-month temporary-to-permanent basis.

If you are an organised administrator with strong IT skills,
excellent attention to detail and an interest in engineering or
construction, we would love to hear from you.
