Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer or similar, with experience using SolidWorks, looking to make the move into manufacturing, where you will receive full training both in house and externally to become a rounded CAD/CAM Engineer?

Are you looking for an autonomous role, joining a highly reputable business, offering clear progression routes into senior roles with continued company growth?

In this role you will be responsible for producing detailed manufacturing drawings, converting customer sketches into production ready files and creating both 3D parts and assemblies. You will be responsible for the programming/operating CNC and laser machines, liaising with customers and suppliers alike, supporting sales and administration activities where applicable.

This role would suit a CAD Technician or similar with prior experience using SolidWorks, looking to upskill themselves in programming.

The Role:

• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings
• Convert customer sketches into production ready files
• Create both 3D parts and assemblies
• Programme/operate CNC and laser machines
• Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm

The Person:

• Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Prior experience using SolidWorks
