About the Role

Helpdesk Coordinator

Up to £34,000 | Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised, confident and personable Helpdesk Coordinator to join a leading company based in Tadworth.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, providing excellent customer service and coordinating engineers effectively. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers and clients while managing the day-to-day administration that keeps the helpdesk operating efficiently.

If you’re someone who can communicate confidently at all levels, enjoys being part of a busy team and appreciates a bit of office banter along the way, this could be the role for you!

The Role

As Helpdesk Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing engineers’ daily schedules, covering both reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers and clients, handling telephone calls, emails and general queries
  • Managing engineers’ diaries and allocating jobs efficiently
  • Completing general administration, including reviewing reports, filing and ordering parts through the internal system
  • Uploading and allocating documents to online systems, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date
  • Preparing paperwork and documentation for site audits
  • Assisting with expense forms and managing holiday and sickness records
  • Coordinating vehicle issues and arranging servicing and maintenance bookings
  • Liaising with engineers, customers and internal teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
  • Providing general support to the wider team as required
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Ideally experienced in a helpdesk, scheduling, coordination or similar administrative role — although this isn’t essential
  • Confident, polite and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • IT literate and comfortable using computer-based systems
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable manner
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
  • Educated to GCSE level, with grades C or above
  • A driver with a full driving licence
The Opportunity

This is a varied Helpdesk Coordinator role within a friendly and busy team, where no two days are the same.

If you’re organised, enjoy working with people and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the smooth running of a busy helpdesk, we’d love to hear from you.
