Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-establised manufacturer of electrical & mechanical systems based in the Carterton, Oxfordshire area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

• Producing mechanical designs elements for larger projects
• Producing detailing engineering drawings, including materials and surface finishing choices
• Ensuring Bill of Materials are correct and up to date
• Support the mechanical builds of prototypes
• Producing work instruction and diagrams
• Designing associated jigs
• Working closely with customers and suppliers

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
• Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Based in a commutable distance of Witney, Oxfordshire
• PC Literate

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
• Holiday allowance and pension
