Senior QA Engineer - Birmingham
£55,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in Birmingham

Bonus up to 10%, 25 days holiday, up to 8% pension contribution

THE SENIOR QA ENGINEER ROLE
As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll own quality within your project team, this means taking on a hands-on role across test planning, automation, execution and continuous improvement.

You will be designing and maintaining automated test scripts, help develop the wider automation framework and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. As part of your role you will also cover areas including regression, performance, load and wider non-functional testing.

Alongside hands-on delivery, as a Senior you'll coach other QA Engineers and work closely with Developers to embed a quality-first approach throughout the software development lifecycle.

SENIOR QA ENGINEER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Strong commercial experience in software testing and QA

Excellent test automation experience

Experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit or TestNG

Automation scripting experience with JavaScript, Python or Java

Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design and execution

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience coaching or mentoring other QA Engineers
