A Senior DevOps Engineer opportunity has opened up in a fast scaling AI technology business. This is a hands-on role with real ownership of cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. If you want your infrastructure decisions to matter, this could be the role for you!

The Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will take end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, defined and managed as code rather than configured manually. Day to day, this means building and improving CI/CD pipelines that engineering teams rely on, designing and running the infrastructure that underpins real-time AI workloads, and ensuring monitoring and alerting catches issues before they reach customers. 

This is a genuinely broad remit, you will be one of a small number of people who understand how the whole platform fits together, and you will be expected to lead infrastructure design discussions.

The Company

This is a fast growing technology company in the AI sector, serving enterprise clients and large telecoms operators. It is an established organisation with a real customer base and a small, close-knit engineering team that values clear reasoning, written communication, and sustainable ways of working.

The role is remote, with occasional onsite team gatherings, and requires candidates to be based in the UK. 

What experience does the Senior Dev Ops Engineer need?

• Strong experience in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering capacity, with direct, hands-on ownership of infrastructure

• Production experience across both Azure and AWS

• Exposure to IAC, and using tools such as Terraform or Bicep

• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration in production using Docker and Kubernetes
