Solution Architect – Remote

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Solution Architect, with experience of GIS (Geographic Information System) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is remote but can be hybrid or office based. Our client has offices dotted around the UK. This means the working arrangement that works best for you can be met.

You will design and deliver across a broad range of solutions across a variety of industries, using state of the art geospatial and enterprise technologies.

Solution Architect – Key Skills:

• Have experience in hands-on involvement in the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise systems
• Experience in areas such as databases, web technologies, application integration, software engineering, networking, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), disaster recovery, and high availability
• Be comfortable working with GIS technologies and geospatial data; experience designing geospatial solutions
• Understand cybersecurity principles, such as firewalls, zero-trust approaches, and SAML
• Be familiar with automation, Azure DevOps, notebooks, and serverless compute
• Enjoy working alongside developers using languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Be confident designing solutions that use REST APIs
