Support the delivery of secure enterprise infrastructure by designing robust security solutions across servers, platforms and core technology services. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic infrastructure programmes within a complex technology landscape.

Role Overview

Location: Hybrid/Warrington (2 days per week on site)

Package: £70,000pa- £90,000pa & benefits

Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (scope for extension or to become permanent)

What You'll Be Doing

• Produce security architecture for enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Conduct infrastructure security assessments and threat modelling.
• Define security requirements for servers, virtualisation and endpoint platforms.
• Work closely with infrastructure engineers and project teams.
• Ensure solutions align with security standards and governance requirements.
• Review security controls across operating systems, databases and platforms.
• Support penetration testing and remediation activities.
• Communicate technical risks to both technical and business stakeholders.

Main Skills Needed

• Strong experience in infrastructure security architecture.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, virtualisation and enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of endpoint security, PAM, IAM and encryption.
• Experience with security governance and architecture documentation.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, ISO27001 and security best practice.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation programmes.
• CISSP or equivalent certification desirable.
